HOW WILL WE DO IT
Holistic Perspective
We gather scholars and research experts from across the world to share their knowledge with our audience. At the same time, external academic boards are there to edit, review and confirm the information. This process draws a comprehensive portrait of the world by featuring issues on both local and global levels.
This project will only work if it works for everyone, that is why it is established as a membership-based non-profit - ensuring an unbiased approach, independence, sustainability and development towards inclusive coverage of languages other than English. Experts and audiences will come together on this open-access platform and help spark social change, beneficial to all.
01
Entries
To build a user-friendly platform that mediates expert knowledge with accessibility, we use a genre of short and interactive informational entries. The entries, in a triple format, include a summary, a long-read with side-navigation panels, and further reading suggestions - these are divided into compact sections similar to Wikipedia.
Other features include explanatory animations, short documentaries, reportages, personal stories, other relevant academic papers, NGO analyses, data or VR materials linked from other respectful sources.

02
Authors
We gather relevant experts and connect them in an open, free of clutter space that is looked after by us and external academic boards. The experts are scholars and researchers that are critically chosen to provide unbiased and informed content that can be trusted.
We do not prioritize western scholars. We aim to actively search for authors personally related to studied countries versus peer-reviewers from abroad to ensure fairness.
OUR FIRST AUTHORS
Adjunct Prof. Dr. Gülistan Gürbey
Adjunct professor at the Otto-Suhr-Institute for Political Science, Freie Universität Berlin, Germany. Her work focuses on peace and conflict studies, de facto states, international protection of minorities, Middle East politics, and especially Turkey, Kurds, Kurdistan-Iraq as well as Cyprus.
03
Neutrality
Is one of the most important values in media. With this ethical approach in mind, we will be sourcing factual information that will be presented in a neutral way - for you, the reader, to interpret. No matter where you are, with access to internet this platform will serve as a trusted resource when you are looking for region-specific information.
04
Financial Sustainability & Community
To ensure trustworthiness, financial independence and a genuine nature of our community, we established this project primarily as a membership-based non-profit. This foundation, together with our supporters, will allow us to initiate social change through our platform.
05
Cooperation
We envision a world in which the media landscape is cooperative, that is why this project aims to complement other media globally, rather than to compete with them.
To achieve this, we will share our content as links that can accompany news media, search results, encyclopedias or individual blogs with relevant context.
06
Language
While the aim of the project is to be multilingual, to not leave anyone out, the first published content will be in English, with other languages to follow when covering specific topics and regions.
